Ovestia
Terms of use

Ovestia terms of use.

Last updated: November 3, 2026.

Publisher: Ovestia is a service published by MONSHOOTING, a French SAS with a capital of €5,000, RCS Paris 833 332 414, 41 rue Boissy d'Anglas, 75008 Paris, France, VAT FR55833332414. Contact: support@ovestia.com.

1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern the use of the Ovestia app by Shopify merchants, for business purposes only. They are accepted when choosing a plan in the app, and apply in addition to Shopify's terms. The data processing agreement is part of them.

2. The service

Ovestia composes outfits from the merchant's catalog, presents them on the store, composes a magazine the merchant publishes after review, and measures what the stylist produces. The app requires a Shopify store and a sufficient catalog.

3. Plans, trial and billing

Plans, prices and limits are shown in the app and on the App Store listing. The trial lasts 14 days. Billing and taxes go through Shopify, on the usual Shopify invoice. The merchant can cancel at any time from the app or by uninstalling. A period already started is not refunded, unless the law or a Shopify rule says otherwise. A price increase is announced at least 30 days in advance.

4. AI-generated text

Titles, notes and articles are generated automatically from product pages and checked by rules, with no guarantee of accuracy. The merchant remains responsible for what the store displays: the merchant reviews the magazine before publishing and can turn the notes off, and answers for the accuracy of the catalog.

5. Merchant obligations

The merchant holds the rights to the catalog and content provided, informs customers, manages the store's consent banner and complies with the law that applies to the store, including on prices and discounts. The merchant authorises Ovestia to create the discount code the merchant activates, a "The magazine" page and, on request, a menu link. The merchant does not use Ovestia to get around its limits or for any unlawful activity.

6. Ownership

The merchant keeps its content and grants the publisher a licence limited to providing the service, for its duration. The publisher keeps the app, its brand and its code. The merchant may use on its store the texts generated for it.

7. Availability and measurements

The service is provided with reasonable care, with no guarantee of continuous availability or commercial results. Attributed revenue figures are a measurement based on orders received from Shopify, not accounting.

8. Liability

Except for gross negligence, wilful misconduct or mandatory law, the publisher's total liability is limited to the amounts paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and excludes indirect damage, including loss of revenue or reputation.

9. Suspension and termination

The publisher may suspend an account for serious breach or a security risk, and tells the merchant. On uninstall, data is deleted under the data processing agreement.

10. Changes

Any substantial change is announced in the app at least 30 days in advance. A merchant who refuses it may uninstall before it takes effect.

11. Transfer

The publisher may transfer these terms, the data processing agreement and the operation of Ovestia to a company it controls or that takes over the business, with at least 30 days' notice. A merchant who refuses the transfer may uninstall the app before it takes effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Subject to mandatory rules, the courts of Paris have jurisdiction.
